Don’t buy!
VERY CHEAP QUALITY. I paid a lot of money to just be disappointed in the poor quality of the lamp itself. They never worked despite several searches through FAQs and contacting the customer service. Only 2 hours away from the other lamp, so not even that far. Extremely dissatisfied with the product, immediately returned.

Need an Android
This is so difficult to pair with an iPhone and the website really is no help. If you don’t have an Android I would not get this. I have to return mine. Also if you are trying to get two for you and another person it only comes with one, so you have to spend another $100 on the other

I am thrilled with how fast these arrived! I bought these to give one to my best friend. It works with an app. I did a test run and they were easy to connect, just read and follow the instructions! You can set up codes for the lamp’s colors: ex: red for I love you, yellow for I am happy, etc. I have had my eyes on these lamps for awhile now and I am so glad I purchased them! I intend to purchase a third one for a mutual friend of ours that lives out of state, and then all 3 of us will be linked together! How fun! These make wonderful and thoughtful presents, and I am very satisfied with this purchase! 10/10 recommend

Adorable way to stay in touch
I got a couple of these to connect with my sister and the soft light with all the different colors is so cute and pretty we talked about getting one for her daughter’s room as a nightlight that also lets them communicate 🙂 It’s amazing that these can connect any distance and with groups of people. Kinda reminds me of the fake galleons that Dumbledore’s Army use in Harry Potter to get messages to each other all at once in a discreet way.

Cool but not worth the price
I bought these about a year ago for me and my girlfriend at the time. They were really spendy but were pretty cool when we could use em. Though warning if u buy these make sure it’s for somebody who is going to be a person in your life and that they are accessible if u need to snatch it back. I made that mistake since she lived a few states away so I was out 100 dollars 🤦🏻

Right out of the box, this thing was easy to use. Linking with friends is fun, but I was pleasantly surprised at how great it functions as a mood light before bed.The colors are bright, it can basically become a nightlight on steroids. It’s perfect for setting the mood – really, any mood! Romantic, relaxed, edgy, and everything in between. The soft purple hits different, I highly recommend it.

expensive and featureless
I bought two of these lamps, one for me and one for a friend that lives in the UK. The lamps are VERY bright, with no option to control brightness, there are only 16 colors which are fine, but most of them hurt to look at when you first turn the lamp on. The lamp dims over time, and you need to contact the manufacturer directly and all they can offer is to extend the amount of time it takes to dim up to 24 hours. for such an expensive lamp I was hoping for more functionality.

I was very excited to get these lamps for my girlfriend and I. When we got them and set them up they didn’t work. I tried contacting the company’s customer service but they never got back to me. Do not buy these. They are expensive and a complete waste of money.

A simple gift that expresses love.
I bought this as a gift for my wife & daughter, so they could send love notes to each other. It’s very hard to set up, repeatedly giving non connection errors. They finally got it to work, but I tried joining their group, have yet be able to.Now I’ve owned this product for two months and it only glows red. We tried to reset it, but no luck. The app is useless, and the online support is nonexistent. Don’t waist your money on this $200 red lamp.

Not worth the time to try and set up!
Worst experience ever with this system! One connects but the other will not. Spent two weeks trying to connect to wifi and would not, colors change and will not reset itself. Not user friendly and always fails to connect. Definitely returning!!

Poor functionality
Every single time the internet glitches, I have to go through the entire set up process- which is six steps- all over again. Why doesn’t it remember WiFi settings, like literally every single other device out there? Phones, TVs, appliances. You don’t have to set them up from scratch every time the internet hiccups- including finding the network and the typing back in the password. And having to retype the MAC ID every single time is silly. Seems cheap, poorly designed, and entirely dysfunctional.

Updated – A Nice Gesture
Update – they don’t have a phone line or fully in place customer service/tech system (it was even strange with amazon as they said it’s fulfilled on them so we ended up with multiple different instructions on how to proceed; but fortunately we were able to get things working well enough and returned the faulty device so things are okay for now) It’s a simple concept, but an appreciated gesture for a loved one who is far away.———————————————-I got this for my mom for Christmas since all of us are now spread throughout the country. We’ve got 4 lamps now in 3 different states, however hers continues to never work. She got a replacement lamp and it still doesn’t work. We’d love to deduce where the troubleshooting primary problem is, but even after requesting customer service call her to walk her through, they just keep sending the same instructions on how to troubleshoot which continues to end up having the same problems.All they do is copy and paste the same troubleshooting instructions, all of which have been followed, and now we’re in a predicament. Really disappointed that nobody can just help her resolve this or identify what the issue is. Perhaps there’s a modem or router issue, but until someone actually takes time to view this specific situation the problem will persist. Disaster and disappointing Christmas gift, which has caused more frustration than joy…

We already had 2 to keep our twin boys connected to their grandparents that live 3 hours away, and to keep me connected to my parents. We then wanted my brother, the twins’ uncle, to be in on this continuous connection. We got him the single to add to our group. Edited:Following a lengthy conversation with the seller through their website. The issues described below were solved and then some. Customer support truly went above and beyond with the assistance they provided and were incredibly quick to respond. I don’t often change my mind, but LuvLink support has very much done right by me.(Previous)Bought this originally as a gift for my girlfriend and I who are long distance at the moment for a thoughtful Christmas gift. Hers arrived no problem. The proper and current version of the LuvLink branded light. Packaging was all correct and everything. Far from the experience I had when I bought the same exact item for myself so we could link them. 2 times in a row I was sent a generic / unbranded version of the light that does not work at all. Incredibly disappointed in the seller and now I have to wait significantly longer to purchase the item directly from the manufacturer’s website. Will not be purchasing from this seller again.

invaluable reminder of friendship
I’m surprised what a difference Friendship lamps have made between my friends and I. I’m in Vegas, another is in Texas, and a third is in Maine. We are connected on the same network so when one of us touches our lamp, all three glow the color we’ve chosen for ourselves. It’s an effortless and cool reminder that we are connected through friendship and these lamps. It’s supposedly easy to write a text or call, but everybody is busy. It’s so easy and fun to touch our lamps and see them glow. They are fantastic gifts.

A good consideration!
Overall, not bad! Colors are great, touch sensitivity is great!Not worth the price, maybe 60% wouldn’t be too bad. I was wondering if the high price had to do with the wifi connectivity and the app usage, but the wifi portion disconnects sometimes, and the app is broken in some places and can be hard to navigate.Unfortunately, most of the other products on the market are made by this company as well.

my grandma looks forward to it
I love these little lamps! I got one to feel connected to my grandma who lives four hours away. I recently had a baby and she’s always looking for updates. Since she’s 95, she spends a lot of time in her bed watching old time movies, so having this on her bedside has kept her looking forward to something. I often connect with her with the lamp whenever I feed the baby or whenever it’s playtime. Grandma obviously loves to call and FaceTime, but this allows us to communicate nonverbally throughout the day. The only con I can think of, is my mom had to set it up for her since you need a phone to do so. These are a little on the pricey side, but I would say it’s totally worth it! I want to add my sister and husband to the group. My sister works from home so she could have it on her desk, and my husband is a teacher so I want him to have one on his desk as well!
